Display preferences change how Repertoire looks, never the wording or choices in a note.
Choose a color theme
Select the upper-left Repertoire logo, then choose Sage, Ocean, Iris, Clay, Ochre, or Midnight. The browser remembers the choice. Use the theme with comfortable contrast in your working environment; themes do not alter content or copied formatting.
Choose a text size
Open Menu → Note Settings and set Text size to Standard or Large. Large increases type, spacing, and control sizes without removing features.
On a wide screen, the note and Template workspace remain side by side. In a half-screen desktop window, a shorter note sits above Templates. Each active problem starts as a closed summary row; select the row to change its options. Only one problem stays open at a time, so several problems remain easy to scan. Use Expand note when the writing area needs the full window. At compact widths, Repertoire switches to focused Templates and Note views. There is no separate display mode to configure.
Keep Repertoire beside a full-screen EMR
Choose the window shape for the job; all of them use the same browser-local library and current session.

These are presentations of one workspace, not separate copies. The Compact Window requires its original Repertoire tab to remain open; an installed window is independent browser chrome but still online-only.
Choose Views in the workspace header, then open Card window, Tall window, Command Bar, or Quick Line directly. Supported browsers can keep this live window always on top. Repertoire remembers the companion window’s last working size, active Templates/Note view, and current problem. Keep the original Repertoire tab open while using the companion.
At small widths, select the Repertoire logo to resolve the current line. Use the arrows or Command/Ctrl + Left/Right in Templates to move between problems. The Templates badge shows the current position, such as 2/4.
Use Views again to change window shape without visiting Settings or scrolling through the general menu. Command Bar keeps R, Repertoire Line, Copy, Views, and Reset in one row. Enter or select R to resolve without expanding. Choosing Views restores the previous working size with the view menu already open; Command/Ctrl + Shift + Space restores it directly.
Choose Quick Line for the browser's smallest practical companion: only R, Repertoire Line, and Reset. Enter resolves in place, and Template navigation stays out of the way as the note grows. Reset—by button or Command/Ctrl + \—clears the session without expanding. Press Command/Ctrl + Shift + Space to restore the previous Card, Tall, or custom size. Press the same shortcut again to return to Quick Line; if you expanded from Command Bar, it returns to Command Bar instead. The browser may clamp the dimensions.
The four direct view shortcuts use one number row:

The Minimal bar also appears when a desktop window reaches one header row tall. Making the window taller restores normal automatic behavior.
Copy while the companion is active. If the browser blocks it, allow clipboard access for Repertoire, refocus the companion, and retry.
If the browser does not support an always-on-top window, resize the ordinary Repertoire window instead. It uses the same adaptive and Command Bar layouts, so there is no fallback mode or duplicate setting to manage. Ordinary full- and half-screen layouts follow the browser or operating system's resize and tiling controls, which is why they are explained in Views rather than presented as window-size commands that may not work consistently.
At full width, active problems open by default and each one has a collapse control. Turn on Note Settings → Collapse Template problems by default to start them as summary rows instead. In a half-screen desktop window, problems always start as closed summary rows so the note and the complete problem list stay close together; select any row to edit its options. Half-screen also moves Formatting beside the starting-note and note actions, keeps the writing inset beyond the paper rule, and keeps resolved detail text hidden until you choose the information button.
Because Command Bar and Quick Line hide the note itself, a small amber marker appears on Reset after the note changes beyond its starting note. It is a reminder that the current session should be reset before beginning the next visit; resetting removes it.
Install Repertoire as an app
On a supported browser, open the browser menu and look for Install Repertoire, Install app, or Add to Dock. The exact label depends on the browser and operating system.
The installed workspace:
- opens in a dedicated window;
- starts at the Repertoire workspace;
- uses the same browser-local templates and preferences for that site; and
- still requires an internet connection.
It is not an offline copy and does not change the no-PHI boundary. Follow your organization’s browser, device, installation, and IT-approval policies.
