Repertoire keeps note-output choices separate from reusable Template content. You can change how the current note is copied without rewriting the library.

Do not enter or copy PHI into Repertoire. Move only patient-independent structure into your approved EMR, then complete and verify the patient-specific note there.

Choose what Reset restores

A starting note is the reusable document Repertoire restores when you choose Reset or reload the workspace. The built-in start contains an Assessment / Plan heading. You can also make named, patient-independent presets:

  1. Choose Clear note if you want to begin blank, then add only reusable headings, prompts, or structure.
  2. Choose the starting-note title above the editor, then Save or manage starting notes.
  3. Name the preset and confirm that it contains no PHI before choosing Save current note.

Use the same title menu to switch between the built-in Assessment / Plan start and saved presets. Changing the selection does not rewrite the current note; it changes what the next Reset or reload restores. Deleting the active preset returns that default to Assessment / Plan.

The three clearing actions are intentionally different:

  • Clear note creates a blank document for this session.
  • Reset clears active content and controls, then restores the selected start.
  • Reload discards session-only writing and restores the selected start.

Custom Templates, Building Blocks, favorites, review records, and preferences remain available after all three.

Choose the copied layout

Open Menu and turn Template headings on or off. Turning headings off omits generated Template names from copied output; it does not remove the headings from the visible note.

Open Menu → Note Settings to set Blank lines between problems:

  • 0 places the next generated problem on the next line.
  • 1 leaves one blank line.
  • 2 leaves two blank lines.

The setting applies to both plain-text and rich-text clipboard output.

Decide whether to keep the source line

In Note Settings, Keep Repertoire Line in note controls whether a submitted Repertoire Line remains above the content it resolves. Turn it off when the shorthand is useful only as an instruction; leave it on when you want the source wording visible for review.

For example, resolving AOM: Augmentin; mother historian with the setting off inserts the maintained results but omits that source line.

Copy deliberately

Choose Copy note when the generic structure is ready. Repertoire writes rich formatting and a plain-text fallback where the browser allows it. Paste into a test destination and confirm headings, spacing, lists, and emphasis arrived as expected.

If a Template author marked a choice or fill-in as required, Repertoire pauses before copying. Choose Review required details to return to the incomplete control. Copy anyway remains available as a deliberate override; the warning does not infer or select an answer.

Use auto-copy only when appropriate

Enable Auto-copy note in Note settings to keep the clipboard synchronized while the note changes. The browser may request clipboard permission. If access is unavailable, Repertoire turns auto-copy off and leaves manual Copy note available.

Auto-copy pauses while required details are incomplete and resumes after they are completed. The preference is browser-local and is included in workspace backups.
