Use synthetic data in the Today review build. The current no-PHI pilot agreement remains in force until the revised policy and organizational reviews are approved.

Review a day

Open the Template Workspace menu, choose Today, and select a date in Code and work trends. Read encounters, code counts, well/sick mix, modifier 25 bundles, and estimated work RVUs. Use the + and − controls to correct a daily bundle count. The 7- and 30-day views summarize trends; an unsupported code stays visible and is excluded from the estimate.

Open Today → Activity to see elapsed clinic work by category, percentage distribution, and the timeline. Edit, reorder, or add work categories there. Only one category receives clinic-day time at once.

Enable optional tools

The Focus, Journal, and Learning tabs are always available beside the other Companion modules. Focus offers work and break cycles and can use the selected work category without double-counting time. Journal records a dated general work reflection with mood and energy. Learning Log records dated teaching or practice lessons and has a CSV export. Keep all free text general and identifier-free.

Export and restore

  1. Open Today → Settings → Export and import and choose Export complete Today backup. Save the JSON file in an approved location. Use the date-filtered Code, Activity, or QI CSV controls when you need a narrower report.
  2. To restore, choose Import Today backup, inspect the preview counts, then choose Import and replace Today. This replaces retained Today data in this browser. It leaves the active note and Workspace library as they are.
  3. Export the Workspace separately through Menu → Approval & Backup if you also need Templates, Building Blocks, or other reusable library settings.

The Today backup includes daily code-bundle counts, clinic work activity, identifier-free QI observations, goals, settings, and Focus, Journal, and Learning data. It excludes the active note, template choices, guided coding inputs and rationale, current-visit clock, unsaved forms, and individual billing-visit rows. There is no automatic cloud sync or EMR connection.
